Now Playing: Frank Sinatra – I’ve Got You Under My Skin

Nothing happening in these pasts of late, it’s already been one month into the semester and dare I say it?? I wanna be overloaded with work. This might come back and bite me hard in the ass but it is kinda bizarre to think that I’m wrapping up my academic life and my final chapter or so is lacking any stress levels, it’s even regusteruing anything really at the moment. In any case, week off coming and just thinking of getting a headstart before the assignments are actually suppose to start.

Would like to highlight this unit I’m doing though – Business Project or Capsim/Capstone. Truly is one of the slackest and uses any amount of donkey sense that you might have (*ahem). The gist of it all is that each tutorial group is a market and in each tutorial is divided into groups, these groups would be like a company and then it’s on like donkey kong!! You’re suppose to out maneuver each other etc… Singing while your winning because my ‘company’ is in the lead. This really gets your business brains going for most commerce students and to me is the fact that business is all about the basics, makes me wonder why the fuck I’m in uni at times. And tis game is played internationally, in institutes of higher learning, played individually throughout the academic level, professors and all that shite. Strangely enough is that you’d expect a Harvard biz Scholl or Yale to be topping this but instead it’s uni’s like mine or some other smallish uni that is topping this game. Which begs the question of HOW GOOD IS MY DEGREE? Cos some say that it’s good, crap and mediocre.

In other news, the hermit of my flat has finally moved out… YESH!!! .. really don’t think that we should be celebrating this fact but for the past few months he hhas become a drak cloud/shadow that is looming over the flat. A 34 year old geezer that has been in the same room for the past 3 years, I guess it’s really time to move on. Maybe that the fact of the matter is that he is the imam (?? Do apologise for the spelling) of the Islamic society in my campus that he looks upon us with much distain.

The way I see it is that he isn’t really such a nice person to begin with: Throwing away people’s things without asking, beit just a chopping board, going around to see whther people’s stuff are cleaned up, washing his feet in the sink… would like to continue to ramble on but it’s getting tacky, to say that he wasn’t respecting us would be an understatement. We weren’t going around making his life a living ell, what hapeen to telrenace/ Good riddance to bad rubbish. FYI .. some Italian dude moving … with baited breath he’s not worse … kinda hard actually ….

It makes you windr why friends are friends, I won’t say much here but it was a rather emotional roller coaster ride over the weekend for me, but hearing the problems of people that you care about has hit me in a way that I’ve never known could be, but I really hope everythings pans out alright ….

Erm, run out of things to write now, didn’t get much sleep tonight but I have been for the weekend, battling the sniffles, and this wintery weather ain’t really helping and I’m BBC deficient (another story to be told) ……. Freak’n long day ahead … caffeiene please work ….
