The Week That Was ...

Finally something somewhat cheerful topic to write about, though there are random bouts in my head .. but it's the same old thinkg rehashing itself...

First off, Gong Xi Fa Cai Xing Nian Kui Le! May the year of the golden boar bring about prosperity and blah blah blah ..

Erm... yea.. if you're not from these nek of the woods.. FYI.. it's the lunar new year, and it's suppose to be rather auspicious ear at that if your Chinese zodiac is that of the piggy. Seems to be good to me so far? Well, for starters I actually made some money whilst putting in a wager or two as it be thenormal scheme of things, plus the usual gluttony and collection of Ang Baos (red packets for good luck), the kitty wasn't too shabby also this year ...

Yes, am not trying to be cheeky here but it sure beats the mundane ""Happy Birthday"s thats been adorning my cakes for the past 24 years....


Yes, also kicked off my birthday celebrations, not that it is such a big deal (might be swallowing my words here), but started witha soiree for the family, which is usually good food and booze. It does seem to be rather routine at times but I don't have really much to complain really ..




Erm.. don't know how the dogs got invlved in this but these 2 seem to have the habit of literally have the habit of barging and sticking their noses into dinners and gatherings ... :)

As it would seem to be the case, I'd exploit any opportunity or excuse, to hold a gathering, so hence this time around was for friends and colleagues. Nice to ave brought all my close friends together at ago ... :)

As to what it was compared to that debacle that was last year's, I guess it is a sign of age that this year was far more muted and matured affair. Chilled music, cocktails and fingerfood...

Well, am 25 now, so can't say I am ound and stupid, there's no turning back now .... well.. that would be the rational explanation.. hehe
